Houses built at Riverbluff are designed for a more sustainable future. Energy efficient from the start, many of the houses are set up to add solar electricity and / or solar hot water heating systems. To promote a healthy indoor environment, an efficient ductless A/C system and / or outdoor air exchangers can be used.

To complement RiverBluff’s innovative infiltration-based stormwater management system, the houses also feature native plant landscaping and rainwater recovery systems.
